Valley Medical Group is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our Family Practice team and work in our Easthampton Health Center. If you are looking for a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity!
Position: Medical Receptionist
Location: Easthampton
Hours: 40 hours, 5 days a week, Monday-Friday generally between 8am-6pm, with occasional 9:00am - 6:00pm shift, plus an occasional morning weekend shift. Hours may vary dependent on the needs of the department. Exact schedule to be discussed at time of interview.
As the Medical Receptionist you will be responsible for phone and portal management, which includes answering and directing calls, documenting messages, queueing medications, and relaying messages to patients from Providers. Additionally, you will also be responsible for managing reception in boxes and portal messages by responding to questions and scheduling same day and future appointments.
