First Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:30 pm

Objective:

Manufacture parts and components for hand-held surgical instruments by programming, setting up, and operating sophisticated and complicated CNC metal machining equipment, specifically Citizen lathes or comparable equipment.

Responsibilities:

\n
• Program, set-up, and operate sophisticated and complicated CNC metal machining equipment, specifically citizen lathes or comparable equipment.
\n
• Set-up and operate manual and less sophisticated CNC metal machining equipment.
\n
• Use of measurement instruments including micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
\n
• Train CNC technician to become fully proficient to set up, operate and manufacture parts to controlled documents and drawings.
\n
• Able to work with little to no supervision.
\n
• Meets print dimensions and specifications in order to consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.
\n
• Consistently and diligently meets or exceeds standards for time, hours earned or appropriate amounts of completed work.
\n
• No Direct Reports.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
\n
• Minimum 5 years experience at Journeyman level.
\n
• Expert in G & M codes.
\n
• Multi Axis tool setups.
\n
• Manual machining of metal.
\n
• Experience programming, setting up, and operating sophisticated/complicated and less complicated CNC metal machining experience including citizen lathes or equivalent equipment.
\n
• Familiarity with Tsugami and Citizen Swiss CNC machines with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls
\n
• Excellent manual dexterity.
\n
• Ability to visualize shapes.
\n
• Ability to follow verbal and written manufacturing procedures.
\n
• Experiencing reading blueprints.
\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\n
• Machine Shop certificate.
\n
• Technical School training.
\n
• Familiar with EDM programming/setup.
\n
