HR Assistant (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Onsite M-F

Industry: Manufacturing

Pay: $25-28hr based on experience

We're looking for a dedicated and organized HR Assistant to join a manufacturing company's HR team.

As the HR Assistant III, you'll be essential in supporting the HR department with a variety of administrative functions. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and enjoys being the backbone of HR operations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR department.
• Manage payroll processing and timecards, including ensuring accuracy and timely submission (especially on Mondays).
• Maintain and update HR records and databases.
• Assist with various HR-related projects and initiatives.
• Handle inquiries and provide support to employees as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in an HR administrative role.
• Industry Background: Experience in manufacturing is preferred. We are also open to candidates with backgrounds in retail, distribution centers, or tech. (Please note: Candidates with a heavy healthcare industry background may not be a fit for this role, unless they have significant experience in other industries as well).
• Education: An Associate's degree in business or a related field is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Familiarity with at least one HRIS platform (experience with UKG, Kronos, or SAP is a plus).
• Location: Must reside near the Franklin area.
• Attention to Detail: Highly organized, meticulous, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Flexibility: Adaptable and willing to take on a variety of tasks, with a strong commitment to being available on Mondays for payroll.
• Independence: Capable of working effectively at a front desk with minimal foot traffic and phone calls.
