Job Description

Our client, an established organization in Rancho Cordova, CA is looking for a dynamic EDM Supervisor to join their team!

Salary: $70k - $90k

Responsibilities:

• Leads EDM Operators, & EDM Programmers.
• Communicates - schedule/ downtime / delays an overall operational status to Production Manager and other department managers.
• Maintain safety compliance and promote safe working behaviors within the department
• Coordinates with the Production Manager on estimates for larger jobs
• Calculate total material required to complete a job based on part geometry

Qualifications

• Degree in Machine Tool, Manufacturing Technology or related field preferred or 8-10 years’ experience
• A minimum of 3- 5 years working with EDM wire & sinker machines
• 2+ years of management or supervisory experience preferred
• Advanced understanding of EDM wire and sinker machine operations – Specifically Fanuc & Sodick EDM machines
• Basic understanding of geometric dimensioning
• Intermediate ability to read measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, gauge pins)
